Curated Design Packages
For clients who don’t want to hunt—
they want it handled.
My Curated Design packages are for people who want a cohesive, considered room without managing every single decision themselves.
No fruitless wandering through stores.
No endless open tabs.
No “almost right” purchases.
This is not cookie-cutter e-design.
This is curation.
That means I make decisions with you–and sometimes for you–based on your space, your lifestyle and your non-negotiables.
You’re not paying me to browse forever or overwhelm you with options. You’re paying me to edit, refine, and deliver a room that works for you.
You bring the room.
I bring the direction, discernment and design expertise.
Each Curated Design Package is tailored to one room and includes:
A design questionnaire to establish priorities, vision and budget
One initial meeting: in-person for local clients, online for all others
A private project portal with:
floor plans
concept boards
3D images
direct product links for easy purchasing
Thoughtfully selected furnishings based on your criteria
Materials samples, when necessary
Up to four video meetings with me for direction and review
Everything is designed so you can move forward and place orders with confidence, without the pressure of creating the design yourself.
This Is For You If…
you value decisive leadership over endless options
you want a room that feels intentional, not improvised
you’re so ready to stop managing every design detail yourself
you appreciate a designer who edits boldly on your behalf
You want unlimited revisions and round-the-clock access to a designer.
You want to see everything that’s available before deciding
You’re looking for fast design and bargain-basement finds
You want to control every choice but outsource any blame
This Is Not For You If…
The Result:
A room that feels fresh, complete, and unapologetically yours,
without the frustration of doing it all yourself.
If you’re ready to leave the confusion behind, I’d love to work with you.
Pricing Tiers:
My prices are based on scope of work, not guesswork.
Your investment reflects the number of items needed to properly complete the room, because a room needing four items is a very different project than one that needs sixteen.
Investment per room:
1-4 Items:
$1,588
5-8 Items:
$1,966
9-12 Items:
$2,289
13-16 Items:
$2,627
This pricing ensures no mark-up’s or hidden agendas.
You know exactly what you’re paying for–and why.
The Groovyhome Design Process
At Groovyhome, the process is designed to feel collaborative and human — not theatrical or rushed.
I work thoughtfully, allowing the design to emerge in a way that feels natural and supportive.
1) Phase One is Programming, or gathering information. It includes:
● A free call for 30 minutes to see if we’re the right fit for each other,
● A short questionnaire about your project, including your budget,
● A conversation about your vision and needs for the new design,
● Seeing your room, whether in person or online. I’ll take photos and measurements of the space.
The objective is for me to understand your vision for the space so that I can deliver a fabulous new design that brings your ideas to life.
2) Then I’ll have what I need to start the Schematics phase, which includes:
● mood boards with ideas,
● initial floor plans with layouts,
● inspiration images so that I can show you what I’m thinking.
● Video meeting to discuss layouts
● One round of revisions to the layout.
3) Phase Three is Design Development, which is all about designer details. I’ll spend a couple of weeks:
● Narrowing things down from the vast marketplace of furnishings, filtering items that align with your specific design concept.
● Making decisions on sizes, materials, styles, fabrics, colors, lighting, surfaces, and ergonomics.
● Specifying furniture and fixtures that fulfill your project requirements.
4) Phase Four is Visualization & Presentation, which offers a realistic preview of the space. It includes:
● One video meeting to discuss 3D renderings and actual products that I specified for you in the Design Development phase.
● Last-minute adjustments after that meeting
● I deliver the final room design, with its own click-and-buy shopping list.
5) In the Purchasing & Receiving phase, you’re ready to click and buy. This is why being ready to invest is handy, because the sooner you place your orders, the greater the chances that everything will be in stock. And the sooner your room will be fabulous!
6) The Installation phase starts when your new purchases arrive at your home. The floor plan will remind you where every item goes.
7) When your room is complete, we’re in the Celebration phase. We'll have our final video call to celebrate your groovy new space!
If you’re looking for fast transformations or full-scale renovation management, this is not the right approach for you.
But if you want a home that truly supports your everyday life, this work will feel like a relief.
Groovy Clients
“Working with Nan Krueger of Groovyhome was pure delight. I needed help placing my furniture to take advantage of the light and spaces in the house I had just purchased. She saw immediately how I could rearrange what I had and augment it with pieces I needed to create a pleasing and workable home. Her eye for detail was astonishing and very small adjustments made an enormous difference. Nan is a bright and down to earth professional whom I recommend highly to anyone wanting to improve their surroundings and quality of life.”
