Shop Smarter,
Design Happier
A Holistic Interior Design Workshop for People Who Are Done Circling.
with Nan Krueger
Shopping for your home is supposed to be fun and creative.
But for so many smart, thoughtful people, it becomes something else entirely—
Overwhelm in the store.
Impulse decisions that don’t quite translate at home.
Pieces that are beautiful, but somehow wrong.
The room improves, but never fully resolves.
This isn’t about taste or intellegence.
It’s about structure.
The design industry makes everything look easy! But interiors are professionally styled, catalogues are tightly curated, and television reveal shows are highly edited.
What’s rarely explained is how all of the decisions are actually made. How scale, hierarchy, color work together before anything is purchased.
Without that vantage point, even capable people start circling, second-guessing, readjusting, settling for “almost”.
This workshop was made to change that.
Shop Smarter, Design Happier is a focused, foundational session designed to bring clarity back into your shopping process.
No rules.
No trends.
No pressure.
Structure.
You’ll learn the three most common shopping patterns that quietly derail otherwise beautiful rooms—and WHY they happen.
Then we’ll go deeper into the one that affects everything else—color.
Not as decoration, but as hierarchy.
You’ll explore
how color shapes emotional experience
why a defined color palette reduces decision fatigue
and how to build a palette that feels cohesive, meaningful, and personal.
This isn’t about being bold or impulsive.
It’s about getting clear.
This workshop is for you if:
You’ve purchased pieces that almost worked, and you’re not sure why they didn’t.
You want a home that reflects your own personality, not a catalogue page.
You can sense that something is off in your room, but can’t articulate what it is.
You’re about to invest in decor, and you’d rather move forward with perspective instead of guess-work.
You value the clarity that a professional designer brings.
A Different Approach
People often ask me how I design rooms that feel so peaceful.
It isn’t the furniture or the particular style.
It’s the framework holding everything together.
My work is rooted in a holistic perspective—understanding how space, emotion, aesthetics, and identity intersect.
This workshop is an introduction to that vantage point.
What You’ll Leave With:
A defined color direction.
A new way to shop for decor.
Less internal “noise” when making decisions.
More intention for your home interior.
If your home feels close—but not quite there—this is your invitation to step back and get a higher perspective.
Hi! I’m Nan Krueger, Holistic Interior Designer
I’ve always been naturally intuitive and highly sensitive to my surroundings and other people’s energy. These qualities let me step into my clients’ shoes and appreciate exactly how they experience their homes and why they need to make changes.
Because I’m called to connect with my clients on these deeper levels, I can design spaces that are precisely tailored to their needs. I discover who they are, where they’re at in life, what they want out of their next chapter, and then how their home can help them step into that new vision.
When my parents decided to redesign my childhood bedroom, they let me choose the colors, wallpapers and fabrics for the new space. Little did I know, that was my first decorating project, and it helped spark my life-long passion for interior design.
I believe that a home should be so aligned with its people that it looks like they designed it themselves. Ultimately, the designer fades away and the client emerges clearly, living in harmony with their home. That’s my dream and my goal for every client.
